ROGAINE Announcements:
ROGAINE= Rugged Outdoor Group Activity Involving Navigation and Endurance
DAKOTA ROGAINING CHAMPIONSHIPS, May 8-9 2010. Here I can share some exciting orienteering news with you. South Dakota is officially into outdoor recreation.
They hosted Primal Quest last August and are now promoting a Championship Rogaine for this coming May 8th and 9th, 2010.
The Dakota Rogaining Championships are now amended to have a 12-in-24 hour intermediate event. The event website, www.peakassurance.net, reflects the latest schedule.
The course is entirely in Custer State Park, with some sweet terrain and much diversity to keep everyone entertained.
Oh yeah, there is a bit of wildlife too! The Park staff has been great and they have a really nice setup for the hash house, a group campground with showers and the works!
