Met with hints of Autumn, Veterans and newbies alike shared in the thrill of a very challenging Score-O course made more difficult by the previous nights rain storm. As suspected, no runner cleared the large course, but we had some very valiant attempts! It was also noted that there are some map updates needed on a couple trail locations and size designation.
Despite the unplanned conflict with the SLC Marathon, we had a wonderful turn out at the meet with 24 starts and 34 participants on this beautiful spring afternoon. Racers were offered the opportunity to pick up trash for a time credit as part of the Earth Day weekend! Thanks to volunteers and orienteers alike!
Good turnout for a perennial fan favorite venue. Thanks to the RD (Abi Holt) and Course Setter (Bob Huebner) for another great meet!
Thanks to everyone who attended the Jordan River score orienteering event. Attendance count is 43 individuals in 20 groups. Big thanks to Alex for designing the course and to Bob, Troy, Ian, and Darren for hosting the event. Penalty is for minutes over 90 minutes.
Pain and perseverance were common traits at Brighton Ski Resort, our most challenging venue with lots climbing, underbrush, deadfall, and side-hilling especially on the advanced course.
