Fall in the Dell!
Don’t really! But do join us to run, navigate and challenge yourself at this great park venue! It will be a standard orienteering meet. Participants may start anytime between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM, and courses will close at 12:30 PM. Here is the link to the start location:

Courses
Courses vary in navigation difficulty and distance, so participants can choose the option that best fits their experience and goals. There will be water available on the course. Sport Ident will be used for all courses. Pre-Registration is not required.
Advanced Long (RED)

Weather & Terrain
Terrain is a mixture of open fields and scrub oak. Lots of trails and a creek(dry) running through the map. There are many subtle reentrants requiring careful attention to your location. The forecast currently looks sunny and relatively warm for this time of year.
Long pants are not necessary at this venue.
Shoes with good off-road traction are recommended. Some hills are steep and can be slippery with standard road running shoes.

Bathrooms are available at the starting area.
Directions
Follow 10600S going east. 10600S turns into Dimple dell Rd at the traffic light. Dimple Dell turns left at the stop sign. Follow around to the Horseman’s parking lot.
Access is also available from Wasatch Blvd. Go right(west) on Bell Canyon Rd (about 1/3 mile after Little Cottonwood Rd). Turn left on Dimple Dell Rd. Follow around to parking area.

Pets are allowed but must be on leash.
We will have water and snacks at the finish.
